• M.B.B.ch in Surgery and Medicine 1980.

• M Sc. In General Surgery 1984.   

• MD in General Surgery 1989. He has Experience in Hernia Surgery and Meshes:

• Around 50 -70 cases per year in Groin hernias using Synthetic Mesh,

• Around 40 -50 cases per year of abdominal wall hernias including Incisional hernias both open and Laparoscopic approaches.

• Ventral Rectopexy and POPS for Pelvic organ Prolapse.

• Organizer and Training in uses of Synthetic Meshes in Groin hernias and POP at Cairo University and sponsored by J&J. October 2015.

• Ongoing MD thesis concerning Modified POPS for Pelvic floor Prolapse.
